H.A Marks have successfully completed full shell refurbishments to the basements and ground floor shops at 8 College Approach & 37 King William Walk.

Pettiward Estate

H.A Marks have been awarded further refurbishment projects on the Estate by Daniel Watney & Associates.
“The apartments are finished to a very high standard and will command premium rents throughout Earls Court” commented Adrian Crowe.

H.A Marks are very pleased to announce our appointment by TFL to carry out a number of projects on various sites throughout the portfolio. The projects are summarised below.

Lost Property Office at Baker Street
The installation of new Air Conditioning Units are ongoing at the above property. Continued Intensive co-ordination of the works with the Building Manager and the Project Management Team are key aspects of the project.

Western House, Oxford Circus
Office Fit-Out Project to 2 Floors.

Ashfield House, West Kensington
4th Floor Office Fit Out project to provide new TFL Training Rooms.

East London Line Extension – Refurbishment of Railway Arch Units
H.A Marks are currently undertaking refurbishment works to create Commercial/Light Industrial Units within 7 arch units for Group Property and Facilities.

We are pleased to confirm that the new Nitrogen and Oxygen Storage & Transfer Facility has now been completed.
The works were completed in a highly co-ordinated way to ensure continued and successful operation of the clients business.

We are delighted to announce the completion of the above contract for Wandsworth Council.
The project involved a high level of liaison and co-ordination with the tenants in occupation and we are pleased to say that the works were completed 3 weeks ahead of program.

70 Old Broad Street, London Underground
June 2007

Following on from our success at Victoria Station, we are delighted to confirm that we have commenced works at 70 Old Broad Street, Liverpool Street Station. This project presents a unique scaffolding challenge, where our engineers have designed a bespoke scaffold scheme which suspends off the rear facade wall to avoid placing any load onto the fragile station roof below. We will be carrying out roof, lead work, stoneworks and brickwork repairs. We will also be carrying out window repairs and redecoration of external areas.

Battersea Park Estate, London Borough of Wandsworth
June 2007

We are pleased to announce the commencement of a major electrical contract for the London Borough of Wandsworth. The project involves the installation of state of the art Heat Recovery Units to combat condensation in 285 flats on the Battersea Park estate.

Tubelines, Acton Town
June 2007

We are pleased to report the commencement of an office fit-out project for the DSM building at Acton works depot. The centre piece of this project will be a bespoke radial reception desk in ash timber manufactured by our skilled in-house joiners.

Venue Nightclub, New Cross.

We are delighted to announce that works have recently started to construct new entrance facility into the club to include a ticket office, security office, sheltered passage way set within the building structure away from the street pavement, shop front and improved lighting and security.

This project, phase one, commenced in June and involves the installation of a lightweight metal walling system and application of coloured renders. We are also erecting lightweight external, internal and roof purlins to form penthouse apartments on the top floor.

Phase two will be external wall insulation with thin coat render and through colour render to solid backgrounds.

Waldeck Road, Ealing Broadway
May 2007

We have secured an appointment to build an extension and complete alterations to the existing structure of this domestic residential dwelling. The project involves extensive phased temporary propping and supports of the existing brickwork walls, installations of structural steel permanent support, making rear of property open plan and erecting a steel framed extension with curtain wall glazing.

Phase 3, Terminus Place, Victoria
February 2007

We are delighted to say that we have secured a 3rd phase at Victoria Station carrying out specialist stone and facade repairs for Transport for London.

"This project is a continuation of our long record of service to TFL and we are pleased to report that our successful completion of phases I & II under tight programs last year was a major contributing factor in securing this project". - Adrian Crowe

We are also pleased to confirm that we have been appointed principal contractor to a TFL project at Northwood Station and two exterior projects for London Borough of Wandsworth.

"Hidden Homes" Appointment

We are delighted to announce that we been appointed by London Borough of Wandsworth to carry out the construction of four new homes as part of the governments ‘Hidden Homes’ scheme. The council's unique 'hidden homes' programme is turning disused estate areas into good quality affordable housing.

New Arrivals - More Projects
January 2007

As part of our developed expertise and continued expansion into external cladding systems, we are delighted to announce that we have become an approved installer for Novabrick systems.

Novabrick is a new departure in brick claddings being a dry mortarless brickwork rainscreen offering a resilient finish, reduced installation time on site and significant savings over traditional brickwork.

We are also very pleased to announce the arrival of Lee Hardy and Gerry Kelly to our specialist cladding arm due to our continued expansion into this market place.

Specialist Cladding works secured in January include projects for:

  • Laxcon Construction at Texryte House, Islington

  • Mizen Construction at Norwood Road, Tulse Hill

  • Chorus Group at Auckland House, Walton-on-Thames

Phase 1 complete at Beadles Siddings, Erith
January 2007

We are able to report that drilling and installation of ground loops has now been successfully completed. Phase 2 works are underway which will see the installation of underfloor heating and commissioning.

Victorian Tramshed Conversion
January 2007

We are pleased to confirm our appointment by Mellersh & Harding, Surveyors, to carry out the conversion of a Victorian Tramshed in Battersea, South London for a Julius Rutherfoord & Co Ltd, a private commercial client.
