Principal Contractor As
a CIOB Chartered Building Company our Core business is the Role of
Principal Contractor working for Public Sector Clients, Rail &
Underground and private commercial Clients and architectural practices. We can demonstrate experience in refurbishment, new build and extensions.
We offer clients a one stop solution in that we manage and build the
project from start through to completion. We highly value our staff and
management team who have the wealth of experienced required to deliver
our projects to the highest standard. Best Practice is perpetuated
through our In-House CPD, CIOB and CITB training and apprenticeship
programs developed over the years.
In
order to save our clients money, create better budgetary and program
control, we have integrated a number of Technical Specialties In-House.
These departments include;
1. Facades, Claddings & Specialist Renders. 2. Mechanical & Electrical. 3. Maintenance – Planned & Reactive. 4. Green Technology. 5. Project Management.
Facades, Rain screens, Timber Claddings, Specialist Insulated Renders, Metal, Tile and Terracotta Facades, Stone and Brick. This
department headed by Duncan Brown has evolved to become a specialist
approved Façade, Claddings & Insulated Render contractor. We are
approved installers for STO, Kingspan, Webber, Alsecco, Powerwall,
Kingspan & Weatherby. We are also an approved contractor to install lighweight steel framing for Metsec and Hadley Steel.
Mechanical & Electrical This
department headed by Tony Rose has developed into a well resourced
In-House Mechanical & Electrical Department. Along with our partners we
can offer our clients advanced services technology for all their
project needs from design through to installation and commissioning. Maintenance Services – Planned & Reactive Our
In-House maintenance department headed by Kieran Kelly carries out all
manner of Reactive and Planned maintenance for many commercial
Landlords and Public Sector Property Owners. Green
Technology
We are building a reputation for understanding and delivering projects
utilising “Green Technology”. Green
Technology is the integration of the latest sustainable systems within
the buildings fabric in order to reduce the buildings carbon footprint
and in some cases carbon neutrality. These high efficiency
systems would include;
- Ground Source Heat Pumps.
- Underfloor Heating and Smart Control Systems.
- Solar Panels / Photovoltaic cells.
- High Efficiency, ‘Eco Friendly’
Insulated Render & Cladding Systems.
- Green Roofs
We are keeping a close eye on government initiatives and
looking at advancements into renewable resources and the need to
protect and sustain the environment. We have established a
successful team through training and partnerships which we will support
and develop and we see growing over time.
Project Management
We have established a project management team in response to the needs of some of
our client base. Our project management service provides the
client with a resource, to provide a bespoke service to
manage a project. Whether we are the Principal contractor or
not, the project manager becomes the clients “eyes
and ears” throughout the process, coordinating all aspects of
the process. The Project Manager provides specific focus on
quality, budget and programme ensuring that the client is provided with
the quality desired, within the budget approved and in the timescale
agreed.
